Bringing the CVP Voice Browser gracefully out of service will prevent new calls from entering the Voice Browser, but will allow calls in progress to complete normally

  • From VBAdmin, ‘SetServiceMode out’.
  • Montior the ‘Calls in Progress’ statistic using the ‘sss’ command from VBAdmin.
  • Wait for ‘Calls in Progress’ go to 0
  • When CVP Voice Browser has restarted, ‘SetServiceMode in’ from VBAdmin to bring the Voice Browser back into service to start accepting new calls.
